Anything Goes - Weeks #430-#431

Welcome back to Word Art Wednesday - the best challenge blog on the internet.  OK...maybe I'm just a bit partial here, but we really have an AWESOME Challenge Blog here, and we give God ALL the praise.  He continues to provide, to grow, and to bless our little blog.  It means everything to us that you are here, and that you're willing to share your wonderful art with us.  We just LOVE seeing all your creativity.  And this week, there are TWO (2) PRIZES up for grabs.  Sorry for the late start today, but...let's get started with his FUN new challenge.

The verse we're looking at is Ephesians 3:20 which tells us "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us".  From my perspective, what this is saying to us is that we're giving full acknowledgement and all praise to our God who is clearly able to do all of what we ask.  In fact, He is able to do things that exceed abundantly above anything we could ever ask or imagine.  Keep in mind, exceeding means going way above and beyond, and abundantly means with overflow or excess.  So...when God resides within us, His power works in and through us to accomplish great things.  When we ask God for wisdom, strength, or...really anything, we always expect an answer and we'll always get an answer.  But our minds are limited to what they can think or comprehend.  We're conditioned to have limits on what we think or expect because we're human.  But God can do ALL things, and can do things "exceeding abundantly" or, going far beyond what we ask or expect because He is GOD and His ways are greater and higher than ours.  How exciting to know that when we cast our cares on God, He will always answer us; and He will answer us in ways we can't even imagine because He'll do things exceeding abundantly above what we needed or expected.  He is limitless.  And, because He understand us SO deeply and intimately (because He created us); He knows our needs better than even we do, and He will care for us in ways we can't even begin to comprehend.  Let Him do great things in your life.  You will be amazed at what He will do through you (through each of us).  When we simply ask Him and lay out cares at His feet, His answers exceed far beyond what we could ever dream about or comprehend.  I really hope and pray that you know Him like that.  He is SO amazing!  Praise be to God.

As always, you are welcome to save the word art to your computer; but you are never required to use it in order to play along in our challenges or to win.   We welcome you to share your all your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards).  You may link up to five (5) projects each week, for a total of ten (10) entries per two-week challenge. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning.  It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you as we share it. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules".  Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to the guidelines.  Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone.  We're simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules.  Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation!

It is the best challenge ever - I make a stop here is Wednesday - unless of course I am not in town... The devotionals are uplifting - the Design Team always rocks with their work as well as the Guest Designers - and the prizes - well what can I say?? Totally over the moon blessing by those sponsors to the winners and of course to WAW for being sponsors - so with all that said --- I need to get working on my creations for this bi-weekly challenge - have a blessed day to all - Jesus is Lord!

Wonderful creative work by our clever DT well done, everyone, and well done Karen for keeping on in spite of issues last week.

Love this week’s verse, it’s one I very often use in encouragement of myself and others... and my favourite bit is the end..”.. according to the power that lives within us”!!!!!

So VERY often we forget the greatness of the indwelling God Whom we serve,” for greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world.”

We especially need such promises at such a time as this.

Thanks for being a blessing, and may God bless you too.
Hugs, Shaz in Oz.x 😊

Thanks so much for the wonderful devotion1 It is an encouragement as we seek to work and to minister in a world that includes new challenges and frightening unknowns. Thank you, also, for the crafting encouragement that comes from having a card chosen for the top three.
