Welcome back, crafters! It's time for another FUN and FABULOUS challenge here at Word Art Wednesday, and we couldn't be any happier to have YOU join us. It's always more special when we're able to see everyone's creativity and have the opportunity to meet you and be inspired by the wonderful cards you all create to share with us. We're grateful beyond words, and we praise God for you. This challenge offers another brief devotional to encourage you, a (free) beautiful scripture word art file, lots of inspiration and an awesome prize from our generous sponsor. Let's get started!
Our scripture in focus that was used to create the beautiful word art is Isaiah 54:17 and it reads, "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD". Remember, that when we see LORD (in all capital letters) in the Old Testament, this is referring to God; and is the same name used for Jesus Christ is the New Testament. So, when we read these Old Testament words, we know that it's telling us that no weapon (physical, emotional, nuclear, etc.) will ever come along that's too great for God. He is God Almighty and is always in ultimate control. Period. No weapons, no words, schemes or plans can ever be dreamed up that will "confuse" or surprise God. He knows everything. God is in control. God has promised us that He will protect us, that He is in complete control, and that all we need to do is to trust Him. What a blessing to know that He has things under control. Don't spend time worrying, being upset, or spending countless hours trying to figure out what to do. Lay it at the feet of Jesus, the LORD, God Almighty. He alone can change things. He alone controls things. Let Him bless you today. Just give it to Him and ask Him to show you all the ways He can prosper us and keep our enemies far from us.
As always, you are welcome to save the word art to your computer; but you are never required to use it in order to play along or to win in our challenges. We welcome you to share all of your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family friendly. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards). You may link up to five (5) projects each week for a total of ten (10) entries per two-week challenge. Any entries over that limit will be deleted and will make you ineligible to win. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning. It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and an encouragement to you as we share it. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules found under our Page tab marked "Challenge Rules". Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to our guidelines. Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone. We're not. We are simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules. Please let us know if you have any questions about anything; and thank you for your understanding and participation.
