Anything Goes - Weeks #561-562

It's time for another FUN challenge here at Word Art Wednesday and we're SO glad you're able to join us.  We have so many awesome things to share with you and we're super excited to have you here to link your art with us.  WOW, y'all are so super talented and we enjoy seeing the wonderful and creative cards and projects you share here each week.  Your art is a blessing to us, and we sure hope that you enjoy playing along here.  We're very grateful to have you with us at Word Art Wednesday because we truly care about you.  Our hearts' greatest desire is for everyone to come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.  We hope that our art reflects to you the great love that God has for each of us, and that it's an encouragement to you as you create and share your art in return.

God has surely given each of us talents.  We see your talents each time you link up a card in our gallery.  As children of God, our art should reflect something about our lives.  Our handiwork should reflect His goodness.  So, when I found myself in a creative slump this week; it made me have to take a good hard look at myself and ask the question of why my art wasn't reflecting His beauty.  While I go about figuring out this mystery, I bring myself to the throne of God.  I think of the verse that says, "draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh unto thee".  It caused me to remember that when I'm struggling, it's NOT because God has gone anywhere.  It's because I've done something wrong, or because I've moved away from my fellowship with Him.  I guess my point is that we can't allow our moments of sadness, stress or...whatever it is to interrupt our fellowship with God.  Just by talking openly and honestly with Him, I can quickly resolve my issues.  God doesn't want for us to worry or stress.  He tells us to simply "cast it on Him because He cares for us".  Wow, what a joy it is to know that.  Yes, I got a bit off topic here from the actual scripture used on our word art; but the message stays the same.  God absolutely WILL preserve us.  He'll keep us and bless us here on earth when we're struggling, AND He will keep and bless us for all eternity.  It's not about "religion", it's about a REAL relationship and a REAL fellowship with God.  If you've never made it personal, I highly suggest that you let today be the day that you call on Jesus for everything.  He's the only One and the only Way.  Go ahead and talk with Him today, surrender it all and put your eternal trust in Him alone.  You'll never regret it and you'll be eternally blessed.

As always, you are welcome to save the word art to your computer; but you are never required to use it in order to play along or to win in our challenges.  We welcome you to share all of your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family friendly.  This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards).  You may link up to five (5) projects each week for a total of ten (10) entries per two-week challenge.  The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning.  It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and an encouragement to you as we share it.  If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules found under our Page tab marked "Challenge Rules".  Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to our guidelines.   Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone.  We're not.  We are simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules.  Please let us know if you have any questions about anything; and thank you for your understanding and participation.
