Welcome back for another AWESOME challenge, everyone. We're so glad you're here to join us because we have another great challenge for you all, and we're excited to see all the amazing things you'll create. We really enjoy your cards and projects; and even if we don't get to your blog each time to leave a comment, please know that we see them and we appreciate them. For me personally, I have had some trouble logging into SCS and some blogs requiring us to sign in. But please know that we really do LOVE all the art you share with us. You're all WINNERS in our eyes.
Our word art for this challenge showcases the verse Mark 11:24 which tells us, "Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them". What a wonderful and comforting thing to know. Over the years, I've had blog friends ask me if it's ok to pray for their sick dog, or for their sports team to do well, etc. Let me say this....it's NEVER wrong to pray. When we pray, we are ASKING something of God. Now, some matters bear more weight than others and are more/less serious than others. However, God cares about the things that matter to us. We can ASK Him ANYTHING. He hears our prayers. But here's the key....first and foremost, it matters TO WHOM you are praying. God/Jesus Christ is the Almighty King, Creator and Master of everything. He alone is God. He came to earth in human form (as Jesus Christ). Praying to GOD (Jesus Christ) is the only way you're going to be heard because He alone is God, and He alone can answer prayer. The second thing is that we need to ASK that God answer our prayers according to His perfect will and for His glory (not our own). And finally, what this verse is really trying to tell us is that we can't flippantly ask Him for something, and then "hope" it happens. We must ASK Him BELIEVING and trusting that He will answer our prayers because, quite frankly, He ALWAYS answers our prayers. If we've prayed properly, He answers our prayers according to His will, and in a way that brings glory and honor to His name. It's also answered in a way that He knows is best for us. That may not always be the outcome we wanted; but it WILL be answered. God can do ALL things. He can physically move a mountain, part the ocean waters, raise the dead, heal the sick, and.....He can certainly answer every need you ask of Him. Once you've asked Him, you must BELIEVE that it will be done according to His will. And finally, be sure to thank Him and praise Him for hearing and answering your prayers. Praying is a blessing and a privilege, and He loves to hear from us...every day, all day, any time 24/7. God is always there for you.
As always, you are welcome to save the word art to your computer; but you are never required to use it in order to play along in our challenges or to win. We welcome you to share your all your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards). You may link up to five (5) projects each week, for a total of ten (10) entries per two-week challenge. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning. It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you as we share it. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules". Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to the guidelines. Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone. We're simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules. Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation.
