Challenge #136 - Anything Goes

Hello again, friends!  Welcome back for another exciting challenge here this week at Word Art Wednesday.  We are SO blessed by all that God is doing here, and we're delighted that you have stopped  by to be a part of it all.  We have two more AMAZING sponsors again this week (as well as a third bonus surprise), and we praise God for His hand of provision, and for all the blessings He continues to bring us each week through the beautiful art you share.  Thanks for joining us.

This week's word art is a beautiful scripture from Psalm 73:25, and it says, "Whom have I in heaven but thee?  and there is none upon the earth that I desire beside thee."  As we know, Heaven is filled with all the saints (men and women of God - those who placed their faith and trust in Him) who have gone before us.  Many of us have loved ones in Heaven.  But the truth of the matter is....when we get to Heaven, believe it or not, the ONLY ONE in Heaven that we will even be thinking about is Jesus Christ, GOD, our Lord and Savior.  We will have no other thought but Him, and His AWESOME WONDER will be ALL our hearts can think on when we are in His wondrous presence.  The same is true here on earth.  The second part of this verse tells us that there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.  When we're little, we desired our mother's touch when we're hurt, scared, etc.  But now that we're grown, when we need strength and comfort, our thoughts turn immediately to Him.  We desire Jesus - the only One who is able to comfort us with true and lasting peace.  What a tremendous blessing to know that He is here for us, on earth, ANY TIME we call on Him.  He will comfort us, hold us, and keep us.  And when we finally get to Heaven, He will be there waiting for us, and.....OH MY!  What a WONDERFUL day that will be!

As always, you are welcome to save this week's free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are not required to use it in order to play along in our challenges.   We welcome you share your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of art (not just limited to cards).  You may link up to 5 projects each week. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning.  It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you each week. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules".  Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to these guidelines (dark images).  Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation!

Here's this week's beautiful scripture/word art files.
We hope that they will be a blessing to you!

Beautiful projects by the DT as always. I love that bookmark! I uploaded a card with a quirky image of an alien on the moon and not sure if this is within your guidelines so please feel free to remove it if it's not. Karen, thank you for this beautiful verse and your thoughts that you've shared! You are so right that when we get to heaven, it's Jesus that will capture us, and nothing else will matter! What a joy that will be! As I get older, it gets closer and closer, and I find myself more eager to see His face! Praise God! And thank you for this wonderfully encouraging blog! Hugs, sweet friend!
