Welcome back for another FABULOUSLY FUN challenge here at Word Art Wednesday. We are super excited and grateful to have you join us. The scripture of focus in our word art is Proverbs 4:18 and it reads, "But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day". I believe what this verse is trying to tell us is that every person has a path to walk in life. Each of us will stumble on rocks along this path, go through valleys on this path, and get tired/grow weary on life's path. The verse assures us that the path of the "just" (those who attempt to follow God and live by His teachings) are compared to a shining light that gets brighter and brighter as time passes. It doesn't mean that our path will be completely cleared of all those rocks, valleys and troubles. It does, however, tell us that when we live for God; He will continue to light the way for us (brighter and brighter) all our lives - even until that "perfect day" when we are with Him forever. On the opposite hand, there is an implied warning that those who walk in the darkness (without God/refusing Him) will be lost, will stumble and fall, and most importantly; they will not ever experience that "perfect day". Because God is the LIGHT OF THE WORLD, we need to also desire to shine for Him and point others to Him. God wants everyone to experience that "perfect day". Let's all try our best to let our light shine for Him so that others will see our light and be drawn to the true Light of the World.....Jesus.
As always, you are welcome to save the word art to your computer; but you are never required to use it in order to play along or to win in our challenges.
