Anything Goes - Weeks #573-574

Welcome back for another AWESOME challenge here at Word Art Wednesday.  We're so glad you've stopped by to share your art with us.  We have another amazing sponsor, The Rabbit Hole Designs, a devotional that will bless you, some beautiful art inspiration, and of course another FUN challenge.  Please know that we are very grateful to have you join us.  God has great things for you, my friend.  Draw close to God and He will draw close to you.  AND DON'T FORGET.....our next challenge, starting December 21, is our Annual Blog Hop.  You won't want to miss that.  Praise God!

The beautiful word art for this challenge is given to us from the verse Galatians 4:4-5 and it says, "But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons".  Being a true Christian does require FAITH.  It's difficult for us, in our limited human minds, to fully comprehend all that is God.  For us, things need to have a beginning and an end.  However, God and His Word have always existed.  That takes faith to comprehend.  It's also difficult for us to wrap our heads around how Jesus was fully human, and yet, fully God.  Jesus was born of a virgin, a human woman.  When Jesus lay in that manger bed of hay, He felt cold on His skin.  He felt pain.  He can absolutely relate to ALL our human issues.  The Bible tells us that Jesus was raised in conformity to the Mosaic Law.  When God came to dwell among us, He fulfilled the prophesies of the Old Testament; and this allows mankind to now follow His teachings and to no longer be subject to Mosaic Law as they knew it.  This doesn't mean that we aren't to obey every bit of God's Word.  It just means that some of the old laws are no longer necessary (certainly not required for salvation) and we're no longer servants of the law; but servants of the Savior, Jesus Christ.  When it says, "the adoption of sons", it's referring to how we are "adopted" or placed into the Family of God when we accept Him as our Savior.  We receive all the benefits of being part of God's family, and all the responsibilities of following God's laws.  The world would like us to believe that following God's laws are "old-fashioned or outdated".  These are LIES from the enemy.  God's Word assures us over and over again that God's laws are "PURE".  This means that His laws/ways of living are WITHOUT ERROR and perfect in every way.  None of us will ever be perfect and have no sin.  However, the more we learn about God and the more we strive to live a separate life (the way the Bible instructs us to live), the more we enjoy the benefits of being in God's family.  The next time you're struggling (with anything), ask God to help you follow His laws and to help you remember that YOU are part of His family.  Don't let the world (the enemy) lie to you and steal all the joy God has for you.  Once you've confessed your sin to God (no matter what it is), you are FORGIVEN and God remembers it no more.  Be confident of this.  If you're not certain that you're a part of the Family of God, we're happy to help you find that assurance.  You'll never find any greater joy in this life than following God and living in the fulness of His grace.  I'm so glad I'm a part of the Family of God.  Are you?

As always, you are welcome to save the word art to your computer; but you are never required to use it in order to play along or to win in our challenges.  We welcome you to share all of your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family friendly.  This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards).  You may link up to five (5) projects each week for a total of ten (10) entries per two-week challenge.  The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning.  It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and an encouragement to you as we share it.  If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules found under our Page tab marked "Challenge Rules".  Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to our guidelines.   Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone.  We're not.  We are simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules.  Please let us know if you have any questions about anything; and thank you for your understanding and participation.
