Welcome back to Word Art Wednesday. It's time for another FUN challenge and we have lots of exciting things to share with you. We have another lucky challenge winner, six Blog Hop winners, and a great new challenge with another FABULOUS sponsor. Have you checked out the sidebar for the new 2022 sponsors? Did you pray for God to provide these wonderful sponsors? We sure do PRAISE Him for providing us with the support of such AMAZING companies. Oh, by the way.....two important things. First, please help us welcome the lovely Cynthia Olheiser to our Design Team. Cynthia loves the Lord, Jesus Christ, SO much and she's really excited to be on our team to share God's great love with you as well as her amazing artwork and creativity. Also, I'm really needing Guest Designers for 2022. Please let me know if you're interested.
The scripture used to create our wonderful word art is Psalm 146:2 which says, "While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being". For those who love God, this should be the theme of our lives. There should NEVER be any time in our lives when our desire is anything other than PRAISING the Lord for all the wonderful things He has done for us. Not only does He love us and care for us while we are living on Earth; but He loves us so much that He actually came to us, lived among us, suffered and died for us, was risen from the dead and went to Heaven to prepare a place for us JUST BECAUSE HE LOVES US and doesn't want to see us suffer eternally for the cost of our sins. He paid the price for us, but we must accept it. While we are here on Earth and have life and breath in us, we should always want to bring Him praise. He loves to hear our praises, too. Yes! God enjoys hearing YOU and I say, "PRAISE GOD" and it pleases Him very much when we recognize that ALL our blessings come from Him and we thank Him. We need to thank and praise Him for ALL He has done - both here in our lives on Earth AND for making a way for us to spend eternity with Him. Each of us WILL spend our eternity (that's FOREVER, friends) in one of two literal places. We will either end up in Heaven with Him - because we have placed our faith and trust in His gift of life OR....we will spend our eternity forever separated from God in a dark (literal) place called Hell. Sounds rough, right? Well, I'm not making it up here. This is absolute truth, everyone. We each have to choose WHERE we want to spend our eternity. You can call on Jesus, God in human flesh, today. Simply tell Him that "I'm a sinner, and I know that YOU are God and that YOU are my only way to escape the price of my sin. I call on YOU, Jesus, Lord God, to save my soul and to help me live for you". It's really not difficult. It's not about religion or church attendance. It's about a real relationship with God Himself. I will choose to PRAISE THE LORD always. Where do you place your faith? It's a very BIG and important decision with ETERNAL consequences/rewards.
As always, you are welcome to save the word art to your computers; but you are never required to use it in order to play along in our challenges or to win. We welcome you to share your all your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards). You may link up to five (5) projects each week, for a total of ten (10) entries per two-week challenge. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning. It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you as we share it. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules". Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to the guidelines. Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone. We're simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules. Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation.
