Anything Goes #458-#459

Welcome back to Word Art Wednesday, everyone.  We're so glad you're here and we're always super grateful to have you play along with us.  There were so many amazing entries in this past challenge, and you all make it SO difficult to choose a Top 3 because we truly believe that you are all so incredibly talented.  Please know that we really appreciate your participation in our challenges, and we think that you're ALL winners.  Thank you for sharing your talents with us.  I also want to mention, once again, that Emma's Paperie (sponsoring us in November) is going out of business.  EVERYTHING is 25% off now.  Please check out this lovely store and scoop up some bargains.

Our word art is from the scripture Isaiah 42:16 and it says, "And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight.  These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them".   Just know that this verse isn't just talking about those who are (physically) blind.  I encounter people each and every day who are so blinded by our corrupt society.  JESUS CHRIST, God in human flesh, is the ONLY way to Heaven.  He is also the ONLY way to true peace on earth.  It's time to allow God to remove the scales from our eyes and to see things through His eyes.  Don't allow this dark ugly world to blind you.  Let Him turn your darkness to light and make the crooked straight in your life.  Put away judging and bitterness - towards others even if they don't see things like you do.  PRAY for your country and for your President.  Do this instead of complaining about things, and you will soon see a change in your heart and in others.  Praying changes things.  Whining and complaining doesn't.  Let God shine through your words, your posts, your actions and all you say and do.  Let your actions lead others to Christ; not to anger.  This world is NOT our eternal home.  Always remember to keep your focus on Him - not the things of this world.

As always, you are welcome to save the word art to your computer; but you are never required to use it in order to play along in our challenges or to win.   We welcome you to share your all your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards).  You may link up to five (5) projects each week, for a total of ten (10) entries per two-week challenge. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning.  It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you as we share it. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules".  Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to the guidelines.  Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone.  We're simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules.  Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation.

Such beautiful cards and a refreshing post! This has been such a trying week and everything seems to be all of the place and it's SO NICE to sit and have a warm cuppa and catch up on blogging and see your beautiful words! I always told my kids growing up let your actions lead by example! Have a great week - blessings!

Thank you for a new challenge, new scripture word art, and a new devotional. I think we can all use the encouragement with what's going on in the world today. I just linked up my card where I featured one of my favourite scriptures (Proverbs 12:18); entry #69. I hope you like it. Have a blessed and peaceful weekend.
