Welcome by for another fun challenge here at Word Art Wednesday. This post will be short and sweet as I'm "under the weather" so to speak. We have a FUN new sponsor, a lucky winner, a Top 3, and a fabulous challenge waiting for you. Thanks for joining us.
Because I'm not feeling well this week, I didn't have time to prepare a devotional. Right now, I'm praising God that I was feeling well enough to make the post. With that said, I'm doing something different this time for the devotional. I encourage YOU to leave a comment telling us what this verse means to you, or what you get from this verse. Our biggest goal here at Word Art Wednesday (other than fun, creating cards and winning prizes) is to share God's Word with y'all. We love hearing how God's Word is a blessing to you; so we'd love to hear what this particular verse says to you. I will draw one name from all the comments, and that person will receive a special prize package from me.
As always, you are welcome to save the free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are never required to use it in order to play along in our challenges. We welcome you share your all your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards). You may link up to five (5) projects each week, for a total of ten (10) entries per two-week challenge. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning. It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you as we share it. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules". Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to the guidelines. Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone. We're simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules. Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation!

Wow, this verse is a great reminder that everything we have (riches, honor, strength) is a gift from God and really doesn't have anything to do with what WE can do or accomplish. Hope you are feeling better quickly, being sick is never any fun!
ReplyDeleteThis verse is such a reminder of God's sovereign power and that everything we have comes from Him. He is mighty and is kind to give strength to us.
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better, Karen!

Sorry to hear you’re not feeling well.
ReplyDeleteHugs and prayers for speedy recovery!
This verse reminds me that riches, honor and
strength come from having faith in God, but riches and strength aren’t about money and power. They are more about blessings and the ability to hold on to our faith through trials and hardships.
Karen, I hope you are feeling better by now. Sending prayers up for your recovery!
ReplyDeleteAlthough I didn't enter it here, I also used one of your past scriptures digi art on one of my photographs currently featured in my blog. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWe all are going thru stuff. I am caregiver for my Mom who has terminal brain cancer, close friend having surgery Wed for stomach cancer, close friend just diagnosed with breast cancer. This verse is a promise that our strength and might come from the Lord. Scripture, prayers and the Lord is what is getting me thru each week. I covet your prayers for my Mom and Dad. Thanks for this word of encouragement!!
