Challenge #209 - Anything Goes

Welcome back, friends!  We're so glad you are here and that you have chosen to share your talents with us.  We consider you ALL winners, and we wish you the very best of luck in the random draw for our TWO FABULOUS PRIZES this week.  We have lots of fun for you all again, so let's get started.

When we read this week's word art/scripture verse, we could ask ourselves why God gives us riches.  Well, the reason He blesses us is for His ultimate glory as well as for the good of mankind.  God does not bless us just for the purpose of luxury and self-gratification, and it is not to be spent on sensual enjoyment or to show off to the world.  God blesses us so that we can show our gratefulness toward Him, and glorify His name.  God wants the very best for us, and He wants to bless our lives.  But God does not want us to flaunt what we have.  We are to use it with humility, with praise, and in a way that shows Him we are grateful for all He gives us.  He won't give us more unless, and until, we are good stewards of what we already have.  As we approach Thanksgiving, this is a great time to really take inventory of all that He has given us.  We are so blessed.  Most of all because of the greatest gift He could ever give us - eternal life.  Take time to PRAISE GOD for all the blessings in this life, and most especially; for providing a way (through His shed blood) to make a way for us to spend eternity with Him in Heaven.  God is SO GOOD, and we should always be reminded of His goodness; and give Him praise!

As always, you are welcome to save this week's free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are not required to use it in order to play along in our challenges.   We welcome you share your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards).  You may link up to five (5) projects each week. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning.  It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you each week. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules".  Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to our guidelines.  Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation!

  16. All these cards are beautiful. Each and every card has got its own specialty. Colors used are just fantastic! My mom organized such an art and craft workshop for her school students last month at one of local event space NYC. Kids loved learning about handmade stuff and were very excited to take part in the contest.
