Welcome, friends! Before I get too far into this week's post, I just wanted to mention that I've been having trouble accessing Splitcoast Stampers, so if you link up through SCS, please know that you are still eligible for all the prizes, but if you don't get a comment from me, please don't take it personally. I'm just having a little trouble getting into SCS to leave comments. Thanks for your understanding.
What a blessing we find in this week's scripture. The Bible is rich with blessings and words of wisdom. God tells us in this verse that He is OUR God, and that He will hold our right hand. He tells us that we need to fear nothing because He will help us. This is a very comforting verse in times of trouble, or even in our daily lives. Just knowing that Jesus Christ is OUR God, and that He cares about each of us as individuals is such a blessing. When He says that "He will hold our right hand", He is telling us that He knows what is best for us, and that He will guide us in that specific path that is right for us. Our lives should always reflect the choices He leads us to make. We need to seek His perfect will always, and strive to do what is right. By allowing God to hold our right hand and lead us, we are giving Him the authority to guide us in the way we should go, and we submit our will and our decisions to His. It's always important to remember that we need to allow Him to lead us and care for us. This is what His Word tells us He wants to do for us. Let's remember that we cannot, and should not, try to solve things on our own; and that we need to allow Him to be the guiding force in our lives that He longs to be. It will only bless us further by allowing Him to lead us in the way that is right. We are SO blessed!
As always, you are welcome to save this week's free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are not required to use it in order to play along in our challenges. We welcome you share your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. You can also link more than one project each week (up to 5 each week). The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning. It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you each week. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules". They have been revised, and we ask that you check them out if you aren't familiar with our challenge guidelines. Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to these guidelines. Thanks for understanding!

ReplyDeleteIndeed, a beautiful verse, and such a lovely font it is written in. What comfort for us in times of difficulty. We are facing challenges with my Mom's health these days, so this verse is especially meaningful. What would we do without God's word!?
ReplyDeleteHi, Karen,
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to stop by to thank your for making me aware of other challenges that might be appropriate for my project and, of course, for you kind, uplifting comment.
Fabulous work by the DT. Our Challenge at 613 Create is not biblically based, but we do try, as much as possible, to keep it wholesome and uplifting and fun both for our followers and for our team. I am blessed to share with you the wonderful presence of Jo Ann Atterbury who has been joy to my soul from day one!
Thanks, again, for your kindness!
