Our scripture of focus for this lovely piece of word art is Psalm 95:2-3 and it says, "Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto Him with psalms. For the LORD is a great God, and a great king above all gods". As Thanksgiving approaches, we're all reminded of all God has given to each of us and how thankful we should be for it all. This verse reminds us that we are to "come before His presence with thanksgiving"...not just at this particular time of year, but always. We make joyful noises to Him (praises, shouts of thanks, singing, etc.) because we love Him and want to give Him praise. The verse reminds us also of the reason WHY we (should) do this. It's because "He is a great God and a great king above all gods". It's because He alone is God. He alone deserves our honor and our praise. Let's purpose in our hearts to give Him praise, thanks and honor always. He deserves it, and it will bless us (and Him) in doing it.
As always, you are welcome to save the word art to your computer; but you are never required to use it in order to play along or to win in our challenges. We welcome you to share all of your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family friendly. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards). You may link up to five (5) projects each week for a total of ten (10) entries per two-week challenge. Any entries over that limit will be deleted and will make you ineligible to win. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning. It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and an encouragement to you as we share it.
