Anything Goes - Weeks #702-703

Welcome back to the best challenge blog around!  We're so happy and blessed to have you share your amazing creativity with us and we're always so grateful for your participation.  This new challenge, once again, features a lovely brief devotional to encourage you, some fabulous inspiration and another amazing sponsor.  We hope you're ready for lots of FUN.

The scripture verse of focus is 2 Timothy 2:1 and it reads, "Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus".  This verse is not only a remind to each of us that we need to be very strong in our faith, but that we should also be sharing it our children and grandchildren.  (ref: my son)  You might ask how a person becomes strong (or stronger) in their faith.  It's an ongoing process that involves drawing close to God, reading and studying His Word, removing worldly distractions and by living a daily life that is pleasing to Him.  As we learn more about God, we draw close to Him and our faith increases.  The more our faith increases, the more blessed we become.  We are calm, we know our purpose (the purpose God has for us), we feel God's constant presence, and we become very strong in our faith.  What steps are you taking in your daily life to help you "be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus"?  God's grace forgives us, but God's presence in our lives blesses us.  Make today the day you purpose in your heart to do ALL you do for the glory of God.  As you draw close to Him, He will draw close to you.  Go ahead.....be BLESSED by God and be strong.
