Anything Goes - Weeks #625-626

Welcome back for another FUN challenge here at Word Art Wednesday.  Sorry for the late start.  I'd appreciate the prayers of anyone willing to do so (thank you).  It's hard to believe that we're finishing up another year of challenges, blessings, and beautiful art.  We wouldn't be a challenge blog or have what we have here if it weren't for YOU and all the wonderful art you share with us.  God continues to bless us (exceeding abundantly) with amazing sponsors and faithful participants, so we keep plugging along.  We really appreciate you for sharing your art and creativity with us.  Our sponsor schedule for the new year is ready to go, so we'll definitely be back in 2024.  OH.....and don't forget about our Annual Blog Hop that starts in two weeks.  LOTS of great prizes and fun await you all.

Our focus scripture for this challenge is Matthew 2:2 and it says, "Where is he that is born King of the Jews?  For we have seen his star in the East and are come to worship Him".  When Jesus was born, the Bible records the story of a group of Wise Men who saw the star in the East and followed the star until they found their Savior, Jesus Christ.  The very same thing is happening today.  Wise Men (and Wise Women) will still follow and seek Him.  Jesus Christ remains the same today as He was yesterday, and as He will be for all eternity.  By simply seeking after Him, we become wise.  We can still "follow His star" by seeking Him every day.  Life can be complicated; but Jesus Christ, God in human flesh, is the LIGHT of the world and He will show you the way if you will simply "follow the star" and seek after Him.  That's what truly wise people do, and that's the ONLY thing that I (or anyone) can offer you with 100% surety.  Don't be fooled.  Accept the eternal gift of God, follow the star, seek after the One who will light your way today, and keep you close for all eternity.

As always, you are welcome to save the word art to your computer; but you are never required to use it in order to play along or to win in our challenges.  We welcome you to share all of your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family friendly.  This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards).  You may link up to five (5) projects each week for a total of ten (10) entries per two-week challenge.  The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning.  It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and an encouragement to you as we share it.  If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules found under our Page tab marked "Challenge Rules".  Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to our guidelines.   Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone.  We're not.  We are simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules.  Please let us know if you have any questions about anything; and thank you for your understanding and participation.
