Welcome back to Word Art Wednesday for another AWESOME challenge. We're SO glad you're here, and super grateful for all the wonderful art and creativity you share with us. If we didn't get to your blog to comment, please know that we appreciate you very much. We have another AWESOME sponsor for this challenge, and we PRAISE GOD for providing all the wonderful support we receive. I hope that you will stop by our sponsors' stores and do some shopping; or at a minimum, just thank them for being SO generous to our crafting community. We're BLESSED to have some of the most amazing sponsors, and we give God ALL the praise for providing them. Let's get started.
Our word art/scripture is Psalm 69:30 which says, "I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving". As we all know, we will be celebrating Thanksgiving (here in the United States) very soon. This is, traditionally, a time when we gather with family and friends to give thanks. Some families have a tradition of going around the table and naming something (or things) for which they're grateful. This is a great tradition. However, may I suggest that we start a new tradition this year of giving THANKS every single day. Just tell the LORD what you're grateful for each morning when you rise. Thank Him for your feet that work, or your eyes that see, for your morning coffee, your children, your home, or any of the OODLES of blessings that He has given each of us. When the psalmist, David, wrote these verses; it pleased God just to hear him give thanks. God wants to hear that from each of us. Just communicate with Him and say THANK YOU for ALL He has done. We don't need fancy words or a big elaborate speech. Just use your simple words of thanks. He LOVES to hear from us. We tend to go to God when we "need" something; but let's each try our best to start each and every day by simply thanking Him for something. That attitude of gratefulness will give us a great start to each day. We sure have plenty for which we can be thankful; so....why not tell Him? What are YOU thankful for today? God is waiting to hear from you. Let Him know. You'll be blessed, and you will bless Him in the process. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.
As always, you are welcome to save the word art to your computer; but you are never required to use it in order to play along in our challenges or to win. We welcome you to share your all your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards). You may link up to five (5) projects each week, for a total of ten (10) entries per two-week challenge. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning. It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you as we share it. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules". Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to the guidelines. Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone. We're simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules. Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation.
