Anything Goes #462-#463

Welcome back to Word Art Wednesday.  Our prayer is that this challenge blog is always a place where you, our talented friends, will be blessed and encouraged and a place where you can share the unique talents God has given you.  We enjoy your art SO much, and we thank you for linking up.  We praise God for you and for our generous sponsors; and we truly hope that you are blessed and encouraged by the art, devotions, and fellowship we provide.  THANK YOU for being here.  You are appreciated.

Psalm 126:5 says, "They that sow in tears shall reap in joy".  Isn't that a beautiful picture?  Each of us is going through something.  We always are.  But just like we learn in this verse...they were (literally) sowing/planting seeds while weeping.  In the true context (circumstances) of this passage, they were captive during this time.  Perhaps we, too, feel a bit captive at times and find ourselves weeping.  It's a trying time while we're raising our children, struggling financially, when we've lost a loved one, or are facing physical suffering, etc.  We may often find ourselves in tears during these difficult times.  But we are also sowing during this time.  We're "planting seeds" - in the lives of our children, in others at church or our neighborhood, even in ourselves.  PRASIE GOD this verse reminds us that although we sow in tears, we WILL reap in joy.  No matter what you're going through right now (a wayward child, the death of a loved one, a financial or physical deficit, or ANY trial), as a child of God; you're dropping seeds that will, over time, be reaped.  There absolutely WILL be a time when the JOY (shouts of happiness and praise)  is greater than the weeping.  Just know, that no matter what your burdens are today; that JOY is coming.  It's found in living for, and with, Jesus Christ in your heart.  Just keep yourself fixed on Jesus, and you can rest assured that His unspeakable JOY is coming.  Praise God.

As always, you are welcome to save the word art to your computer; but you are never required to use it in order to play along in our challenges or to win.   We welcome you to share your all your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards).  You may link up to five (5) projects each week, for a total of ten (10) entries per two-week challenge. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning.  It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you as we share it. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules".  Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to the guidelines.  Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone.  We're simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules.  Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation.
