Anything Goes - Weeks #454-#455

Welcome!  Thanks for stopping by Word Art Wednesday.  We're so glad you're here to play along with us.  Before we jump in, I'd like to once again mention Emma's Paperie.  This sweet store is going out of business, and you can get some AMAZING bargains as they close out.  Emma's Paperie is sponsoring (quite generously, by the way) two challenges for us this year.  However, they will already be closed when they sponsor us.  So....I encourage you to stop by now and see what bargains you can't live without (lol).  I know that Cindy would appreciate your support.  We're SO grateful for all our wonderful sponsors.  For this challenge, we have the amazing Stix2Anything offering an awesome adhesives package.  We all have our own style of crafting and card-making, but adhesives are a necessity for everyone in crafting; and Stix2Anything has everything you could possibly need in that area.  The Owner of Stix2Anything, Ruth, sent me some goodies (shown below) and I made a cute calendar hanger using them.

Our word art for this challenge is Romans 12:5 which says, "So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members of one another".  This verse holds a wonderful lesson about compassion for others.  When it comes to individual people, our unique personalities define and unite us.  But in the Church, it is Christ who unites us.  Each and every individual in the body of Christ has a unique role to play.  Your gifts and your influences are different from mine...and so on.  Each person is vital to the body of Christ as a whole.  We are each called to play our part.  Together, we bring glory to God.  But what happens when one member is suffering?  The Bible tells us that God will not  rest (sleep) because He is always watching our coming in and our going out.  So, if our troubles matter to Him, certainly they should matter to us (as members of the body of Christ).  It's important to know YOUR role in the body.  It's equally important to care about the role each person plays; and when they are suffering, we  need to show God's love for them.  Pray for others as you would for yourself.  Each person is equally important.  Sort of the on-going "theme" these days, right?  ALL lives matter to God because we each have unique value to Him.  The left hand isn't more important than the right hand.  The right foot isn't more important than the left ear.  EVERY SOUL matters to Christ Jesus.  He cares deeply for each of us without anyone being more (or less) valuable to Him than another.  I wish our lost world could comprehend this.  We all matter to Him.  We should ALL matter to one another.

As always, you are welcome to save the word art to your computer; but you are never required to use it in order to play along in our challenges or to win.   We welcome you to share your all your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards).  You may link up to five (5) projects each week, for a total of ten (10) entries per two-week challenge. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning.  It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you as we share it. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules".  Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to the guidelines.  Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone.  We're simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules.  Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation.
