Weeks #444 - #445 - Anything Goes

SPECIAL NOTE:  We respectfully ask our followers to stop by Emma's Paperie and take a look around.  This WONDERFUL store has been a favorite of mine for years.  Sadly, they are going out of business.  But, there's good news!!  They're still open, and they're having a SALE.  I'd like to show them our SUPPORT.  The Owner of Emma's Paperie, Cindy, is sponsoring TWO challenges for us (later in the year) after Emma's Paperie will be officially closed for business.  That's why I'd like everyone to show their support now - while they're still open.  They carry top-brand products that we all LOVE.  And...let me tell you this - the prizes she gave me for the upcoming challenges she's sponsoring (November 4 and December 30) are AMAZING.  More than $100 in value.  They're are truly AWESOME prizes.  Let me know if you do end up ordering from Emma's Paperie.  I just might have a little something extra for you as well.  Thanks for your support of one of the very special, generous sponsors in our wonderful crafting community.

Welcome back to Word Art Wednesday where we have a new challenge every other Wednesday centering around the wonderful Word of God.  In a lost world, we hope that this small glance into the Bible will bless and encourage you.  We all love to create and share our art, and we're always super excited to see what you've been crafting up in your little studio or quiet creative space.  We are very grateful to have you stop by and share your artful creations in our challenges, and we wish you the best of luck in the random draw for our winners.

The verses of scripture for the new word art are found in Psalm 112:1-2, where it says, "Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.  His seed shall be mighty upon the earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed".  This tells us that we who fear the LORD (Jehovah God in the Old Testament, and Jesus Christ in the New Testament) give Him ALL the praise that is due His holy name.  We delight greatly in keeping His commandments and principles.  It also reminds us that by teaching these truths to our children, they will be blessed in return.  You see, it's only through God that we can find true joy.  Whether it's in this lifetime, or the eternity to come....if we don't have Jesus, we really have nothing.  This is a confusing and scary time for the world.  But for those who "fear the LORD, delight in His commands, and give Him all praise" they are promised to have "seed that is mighty upon the earth: and that the generation of the upright shall be blessed".  Only wonderful promises for those who trust in Him (and for their future generations who are taught how to delight in the LORD.

As always, you are welcome to save the word art to your computer; but you are never required to use it in order to play along in our challenges or to win.   We welcome you to share your all your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards).  You may link up to five (5) projects each week, for a total of ten (10) entries per two-week challenge. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning.  It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you as we share it. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules".  Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to the guidelines.  Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone.  We're simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules.  Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation.
