Anything Goes - Challenge Weeks #262-263

Welcome back to our last challenge of 2016, everyone.  It's been a fabulous year, and we're so grateful for all our amazing sponsors, and for each and every one of you who has shared their art with us this year.  When you visit our blog for the first challenge in 2017, you will be able to see ALL the AMAZING sponsors we have lined up for the new year.  God has blessed us, and we are SO grateful.  Thanks for being part of Word Art Wednesday.  We're especially grateful for all of you, and we pray for God's richest blessings upon you all in the coming year.

The word art for our new challenge is from 2 Corinthians 9:8, and it says "And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work."  What this verse is telling us is that when we give cheerfully to others, He will bless our increase so that we always have what we truly need to be content (and so much more).  When we see the word "sufficiency", it refers to godliness with contentment.  When we are content with what we already have, and are good stewards of what we already have, God gives us more.  We must prove ourselves faithful will small things first.  Then, He blesses our increase as we use it to glorify Him and use what we have to bless others while giving glory and honor to Him.  When our giving (of time, prayer, goods, etc.) blesses others, it touches their hearts and brings Him glory.  Only then will He bless us with even more.  When we hoard all we have (whether it's knowledge, time or material goods), God isn't quick to give us more.  Only when we use what we have to bless others does He trust us with even more, and more and more and more.  There is no end to what God can and will do through us when we are faithful to share with others from the bounty with which He has blessed us.  After all, it truly is more blessed to give than it is to receive.  That's "Holiday spirit", and we do it to honor and glorify God who has done SO MUCH for us.

As always, you are welcome to save the free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are not required to use it in order to play along in our challenges.   We welcome you share your all your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards).  You may link up to five (5) projects each week. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning.  It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you as we share it. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules".  Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to our guidelines.  Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone.  We're simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules.  Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation!

God is so good! Isn't it wonderful to know that we don't have to stress about our circumstance but can trust God to provide everything we need. I really appreciate your thoughts on this verse and the wonderful inspiration from the DT. God bless!
