It's Challenge #123 - Anything Goes

Welcome back, everyone!  It's time for another awesome challenge here at Word Art Wednesday, and you will be DELIGHTED by this week's amazing sponsors.  Please remember that while our challenges are always "Anything Goes", you must adhere to our Challenge Rules in order to be eligible to win our awesome prizes.  We want you all to have a shot at these great prizes, so if you aren't yet familiar with our rules, please make sure you check them out.  This Bible verse pretty much sums up the kinds of projects  you should share with us - Philippians 4:8 "Finally brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."  As an aside, these are also the attributes that should replace worry in our lives.  And since your art becomes a source of worry for us when it does not match up with this verse (and the rest of God's Word), we must remove it.  We don't judge people for creating dark art, but it's simply NOT for our challenge blog, and will be removed.  Thanks for understanding.

From this week's scripture, Ecclesiastes 3:11, we learn that God makes all things beautiful in His time.  We know that God's timing, although not always in agreement with what WE think it should be, is always perfect.  He knows what should happen, and exactly when it should happen.  While God has given us glimpses into eternity, this verse reminds us that there are many things about eternity that He has not revealed to man.  And again, in His perfect time, those who are saved and who will spend eternity in Heaven with Him, will have all things revealed to them.  We need to always trust that God keeps some things from us because He knows that we are better off not knowing everything.  I don't know about all of you, but I'm SUPER excited to some day learn all the things He has planned for us.  We can always take great comfort in these facts - He makes all things beautiful in His time, He has eternity planned out perfectly, and He will reveal to us what we need to know exactly when we need to know it.  And again, it will be beautiful!

As always, you are welcome to save this week's free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are not required to use it in order to play along in our challenges.   We welcome you share your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of art (not just limited to cards).  You may link up to 5 projects each week. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning.  It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you each week. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules".  Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to these guidelines.  Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation!

Here's this week's beautiful scripture/word art file.
We hope that it will be a blessing to you!

Oh what wonderful prizes, and I must admit that my favourite prize is the stamp set shown - I have been waiting to buy a lace doily set, but the $$ run out before I get there :-).
I live in New Zealand where it is still warm and sunny, and God is currently blessing us with colourful trees. We have the remains of a tropical cyclone due to hit this weekend so it will be wet and windy, very windy.

Blessings

I feel so privileged to have found this site! Everyone's work is so beautiful and inspiring, Just today our Pastor was talking about God's Giftings and creativity was among those gifts! How awesome for all who spread His word in this way!😇

I live in Southern Oregon and all the choices are wonderful, but a new set of stamps from Docerela sounds fantastic.

Also a special thanks to Karen for helping me with downloading the verse!

Blessings to all!
