We are super excited to announce our other new member of the Word Art Wednesday Design Team, Diane Noble. Diane is, first and foremost, a beautiful Christian woman who loves the Lord and lives for Him. She is also a talented artist, and has a beautiful digi store called Daydream Designs, and I hope you will check out Diane Noble's Blog as well as her store. She will be sponsoring some upcoming challenges here at Word Art Wednesday as well as designing for us. Here is what she has shared with us. Please take the time to stop by and welcome her.
What a delight to be coming on board as a Design Team Member
for Word Art Wednesday. I can’t think of
a better combination than to enjoy exalting God’s Word AND crafting at the same
time. I’m thrilled to be joining such
great talent, but more than that, joining others who love the counsel of
scripture and love to share it online.
I’ve been crafting for as long as I can remember. I remember making a little sheep out of
shaved Ivory soap when I was in Kindergarten.
Nothing could have been a more treasured work of art! I’m somewhat more critical of my finished
designs now than I was then, but my inherent enjoyment has not waned. I love paper-crafting of all types,
especially making cards, mini albums, 3-D projects, and my newest paper
hobby—mixed media. I love blending
paper, paint and ephemera to create canvas artwork. My husband and I have an empty nest and our
two grown sons serve the Lord faithfully.
My husband is involved in several types of vocational ministry—recently as
a pastor and currently as hospice chaplain, police chaplain, adjunct professor
at one our denomination’s seminaries and is the director of the thrift store
sponsored by our town’s ministerial alliance.
I am enjoying my own retirement from a career in education
administration. In short, life is good,
and is all the better if I get to spend lots of time in my craft room!
