I would like to thank Karen for extending the invitation for me to guest design this month here at Word Art Wednesday. It is such an honor to be designing along side this fabulous DT. I so appreciate the encouraging, often Scripture-based, Word Art offered here each week!
I am married to Gary, my wonderful husband of 30 years. We have four children: Joseph and his bride, Rachel; Grace; Elizabeth adding Andrew to our family ~ their wedding day is this Saturday, October 6; and our only child still at home and a senior this year, Maria. I home-educated for 19 years until Maria entered our local high school last year. We are so blessed that each of our children is following our Lord. As much as I adore my wonderful family, my first love is for my Savior, whom I met when I was a mere 9 years old. My love for our Lord is reflected in my creative work.
I am a lifetime crafter, and was introduced to scrapbooking when our church started a monthly scrapbook night in February, 2007. That group no longer meets, but my passion for paper crafting continues. I am so blessed that the Lord has given me this creative outlet!! I was introduced to the world of online scrappers in September, 2010. By that October, I started up a blog and have been blessed with the opportunity to be on several amazing design teams. I am primarily a scrapbook artist, but also enjoy dabbling in card making and altered art. My style has changed over time and most of my work these days is shabby chic mixed media. I would be so honored and blessed for you to drop by my blog where you will find more details and close-ups of my projects posted here this month. I treasure your visits and encouragement. I look forward to stopping by your blogs to get to know you as well.
