We are just blown away each week by all the gorgeous creations that you share in our challenges. We appreciate each and every piece of art linked in our challenges, and we thank you for sharing them. We encourage you to share even more this week (up to five entries per week). Anything you post on your blog this week, just think about Word Art Wednesday, and link it here. It blesses us, and it reminds us to pray for you. Thank you for allowing us to peek into your lives, and to be involved in praying for you and sharing in the load of your burdens. The fellowship we share is such a blessing, and we hope you will trust us with the things that burden your hearts because we truly do care about each of you.
Our verse for this week is 1 Peter 5:7 "Casting all your care upon Him: for He careth for you." What this means is, literally, that it truly matters to the Lord what happens to you. He cares when you have a tooth ache, when your car breaks down, when your loved ones are sick, or when you're feeling "down in the dumps". His Word tells us to cast that burden, or lay those worries, ON HIM because He truly cares. And.....He alone is the only One who can change your circumstances. What a wonderful comfort to know this when we're experiencing life's struggles. We are NEVER alone in life's troubles. He doesn't expect, or even want, us to carry them alone. He actually enjoys carrying them for us. Praise God that we serve a Savior who makes it SO real.
We encourage you this week to put this beautiful promise into practice. Whatever is burdening your heart, we encourage you to simply lay it at His feet, ask Him to handle it, and then TRUST that HE WILL deal with it for you. Watch and see what God does for you. It will AMAZE you!
As always, feel free to save this free weekly word/scripture art to your computer. You are welcome to use it in your entry, but not required to do so. As long as you use an encouraging or uplifting sentiment on your project, that is fine. You can also link more than one project each week (up to 5). The more, the merrier. We just hope that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you each week. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules".
