Welcome back for another FUN challenge here at Word Art Wednesday. As always, we're so grateful to have you join us and play along. We also hope that our short devotional will bless and encourage you this week. Life can be difficult; especially without God. But by applying some of these simple truths to our lives as we surrender to Him, it will truly bless us in our walk with Him. We couldn't have a challenge blog with you; so thanks again for joining us and best of luck to everyone in the random draw for our AWESOME prize.
Our scripture for the beautiful word art is Psalm 62:8 and it says, "Trust in him at all times: pour out your heart before Him: God is a refuge for us". No matter how long you've been saved and walking with God, and no matter how close you are to Him, we all go through difficult times. This verse reminds us to trust in God at all times. Most of us tend to draw closer to Him and to trust Him more in our times of trouble. We need to remember to trust Him all the time - when things are rough, when things are going well, and in every little decision we make. If we're truly seeking after Him, we'll remember to trust Him always and we'll want to praise Him always. This verse also encourages us to "pour out our heart before Him". Did you know that God doesn't want you to worry? Not one bit. In fact, the Bible tells us to "cast all our worries upon Him because He cares for us". He tells us again here to pour out our hearts, to lay it all on Him, and to let Him take away our worries and lead us in His ways. And finally, this verse reminds us that God is a refuge for us. A refuge is simply "a safe place" and God wants to protect us from the ugliness of this world. I hope this verse in an encouragement to you this week as you walk with Him.
As always, you are welcome to save the word art to your computer; but you are never required to use it in order to play along or to win in our challenges. We welcome you to share all of your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family friendly. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards).
