Anything Goes - Weeks #583-584

Welcome back to Word Art Wednesday, everyone.   Thank you so much for stopping by to PLAY ALONG in our fun challenge.  We have an awesome sponsor for this challenge which is Stamp Simply Clear Stamps offering a generous $25 Gift Certificate.  OH MY!!!  The choices are many and you will LOVE their amazing stamps and dies.  Stamp Simply carries so many wonderful sentiment stamps in the most deliciously delicate fonts.  There's a perfect sentiment for every occasion you can imagine.  We also have a brief devotional, and some really great inspiration to share with you all.  Stamp Simply Clear Stamps is an AMAZING company with awesome (darling) stamps, dies and so much more.  This wonderful store is also owned by a beautiful person, the lovely Sharon Johnson.  Sharon has been a long-time sponsor here at Word Art Wednesday and throughout the crafting community.  I give God much PRAISE for Sharon and for ALL our generous sponsors.  I continually pray that God will BLESS these amazing people and their companies as they lend support to challenge blogs and the crafting community.  These special people mean so much to us all and I really do ask God to put His mighty hand of blessing and provision over these individuals and the companies they represent.  They deserve to be blessed for all the ways they bless others.  I'm just SO very grateful for them all and, for this challenge, my dear friend, Sharon.

The lovely word art for this challenge is given to us in Romans 12:12 and it says, "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer".  I'd love to hear your comments or thoughts on what this verse means to you or how you interpret this one.  For me, what I understand when I read this very is that first, I need to be (remain) joyful in hope.  The world (Satan, our enemy) would just LOVE to steal up ALL our joy.  The enemy lies to us every day and he would want us to believe that there is nothing at all to be excited about.  What a big fat lie that is!  While life certainly has its difficulties, struggles, burdens and such; we can always find MUCH about which we can be JOYFUL in HOPE.  Being happy and looking forward with hope to ALL that God is planning for us is definitely something about which we can be truly excited.  Just keep counting your blessings and being joyful.  Next, this verse reminds us to just slow down.  It tells us to be "patient in affliction".  That one can be challenging, right?  Being patient while I'm being afflicted with a problem?  Really?  Just be patient (to wait quietly with trust) when everything around you is pure chaos.  It doesn't sound possible, but it actually is because God makes all things possible.  The last part of this verse reminds us to be/to remain faithful in prayer.  It's not difficult to pray.  In fact, it's very easy.  Prayer is just a conversation between you and God where you ask Him for the strength and things you need to help you live successfully for Him.  This verse reminds us that God wants to hear from us and that He's waiting to hear what you need from Him and how you want to praise His holy name.  Praise God for all the wonderful truths we find in the Bible every day that bless us so much.

As always, you are welcome to save the word art to your computer; but you are never required to use it in order to play along or to win in our challenges.  We welcome you to share all of your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family friendly.  This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards).  You may link up to five (5) projects each week for a total of ten (10) entries per two-week challenge.  The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning.  It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and an encouragement to you as we share it.  If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules found under our Page tab marked "Challenge Rules".  Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to our guidelines.   Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone.  We're not.  We are simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules.  Please let us know if you have any questions about anything; and thank you for your understanding and participation.
