Anything Goes - Weeks #557-558

Welcome back to our FUN challenge blog, Word Art Wednesday.  We're so glad you're here to join in on all the fun.  We have a FABULOUS sponsor, some wonderful inspiration, a brief encouraging devotional, and LOADS of fun waiting for you so let's get started with our new challenge, shall we?

The Bible scripture used for our beautiful piece of word art is from Isaiah 55:11 and it reads, "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it".  That's a mouthful for sure, and I'll admit that there are times when some scriptures can seem a bit confusing.  BUT...I will say that we never need to be intimidated by verses (or things) we don't quite understand.  When we read and study God's Word, it is ALL beneficial to us for instruction, training, etc.; and if/when we read and study His word, God is faithful to give us the ability to understand it.  Just take apart this verse a bit at a time and we'll soon see what God has here for us.  First, God reminds us (or at this time, He was reminding Israel; but the same is true for us today) that every word He gives us is true, important and profitable for our lives.  When He says that His words "shall not return to me void", He reminds us that there is a reason for every word, and that each word He has given to us has a specific purpose that will benefit us in some way.  This blesses Him in return because it pleases Him when we HEAR His words, listen and obey His commands, and then He SEES us enjoying the blessings of His teachings.  It truly makes God happy when He watches us USE His precious Word (the Bible) to instruct us and bless us the way He intended for it to do.  You see, the Bible is filled with WONDERFUL teachings and truths that God wants us to learn and apply so that we will be blessed.  Ultimately, He is blessed as we draw closer to Him and reap the benefits of living according to the (perfect) instructions He has left with us.  This world is no joke friends.  It's ROUGH and it has LOTS of challenges and trials along the way.  Just know FOR SURE that God's Word, the Holy Bible, contains EVERYTHING you need to know to live a blessed life.   I really do hope that God's Word is a blessing and encouragement to you.

As always, you are welcome to save the word art to your computer; but you are never required to use it in order to play along or to win in our challenges.  We welcome you to share all of your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family friendly.  This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards).  You may link up to five (5) projects each week for a total of ten (10) entries per two-week challenge.  The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning.  It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and an encouragement to you as we share it.  If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules found under our Page tab marked "Challenge Rules".  Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to our guidelines.   Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone.  We're not.  We are simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules.  Please let us know if you have any questions about anything; and thank you for your understanding and participation.

This is such a wonderful verse and reminds us that even though we might not understand how God works, his designs are always perfect. Words that we feel may be falling on stony ground, may just take root! Thank you for this challenge. I don't have a printer at the moment, as my computer is so old it cannot talk to one lol, but I shall join in anyway! Vicky x
