WELCOME to Word Art Wednesday, everyone. We're blessed to have you join us and we're always so very grateful for all who come by to share their amazing cards and art with us here. God has blessed us with the best sponsors EVER - and they provide all the awesome prizes for our challenges as well as loads of wonderful inspiration. This challenge is no different, and we have the WONDERFUL Stix 2 Anything sponsoring us with an awesome adhesives prize package for one lucky participant. Thanks so much for stopping by to join us, and as always, we wish everyone the best of luck in the random draw. We appreciate you all SO very much. Be sure to read the rules so that you'll be eligible to win.
The scripture used to create our beautiful word art for this challenge is Psalm 103:13 which says, "Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear Him". In this verse, the psalmist is comparing a father's love to God's own great love for His children. In this verse, the word pity is used and it basically just means compassion. You can think of it this way....when a child is ill, his/her earthly father will not only have the feeling of compassion or pity towards their child; but will also ACT on that feeling. The words in this verse imply that an action will take place. The father would never just look at his sick child and FEEL the compassion; but would also take the necessary actions that are needed to nurse that child back to good health. In much the same way, when God (our all-knowing Heavenly Father) sees us suffering with an illness, a sadness or difficult situation; He not only SEES our need; but He also takes action and does for us what is best. Much like our parents did when we were little, God is still looking out for us and wants the very best for us when we "fear Him" (acknowledge His holiness). God will always SEE our need and will also ACT on it to provide precisely what we need. He does this simply because He loves us and wants us to be blessed in this life so that we are able to fully experience His great JOY and so that we can SHARE that joy as we point others to Him. I know that God's great love for me is something I truly want everyone to know....today and forevermore.
As always, you are welcome to save the word art to your computer; but you are never required to use it in order to play along or to win in our challenges. We welcome you to share all of your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family friendly. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards). You may link up to five (5) projects each week for a total of ten (10) entries per two-week challenge. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning. It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and an encouragement to you as we share it. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules found under our Page tab marked "Challenge Rules". Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to our guidelines. Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone. We're not. We are simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules. Please let us know if you have any questions about anything; and thank you for your understanding and participation.
