Hello, everyone, and welcome back to Word Art Wednesday. We're SO glad you've chosen to stop by and play along with us. We have yet another AWESOME challenge for you all today, and it's always much more fun when YOU join the fun. We have one new DT Member and we hope you will give a warm welcome to Christine Miller. Christine has been a faithful participant of our challenges for many years, and she is also a faithful Christian who loves the Lord and loves to create beautiful things. We have another WONDERFUL sponsor for this challenge; THEE source for everything ribbons, trims and more - Really Reasonable Ribbon. Let's get started with our challenge.
Our word art for this challenge uses the scripture verse Psalm 31:12 which reads, "To the end that my glory may sing praise to three, and not be silent. Oh Lord, my God, I will give thanks unto thee forever". These beautiful words pretty much sum up my daily prayer to God - that He might allow me to sing His praises as long as I have breath left in me. I know that I (and those who are saved) will sing His praises forever in Heaven. I praise God for that. But this dark and twisted world wants to silence my praise to Him now; and that will never happen. God has each of us to sing His praises, to bring Him glory, and to testify to His greatness and love - while we are here on this earth. You see, it's really all about sharing the Gospel (the truth and GOOD NEWS) of Jesus Christ and His gift of eternal life through what He has done for us at Calvary. This earth as we know it WILL pass away, and each of us WILL spend an eternity in one of two literal places. Let's do all we can to sing His praises as long as we have life in us. Let's each commit to sharing God's love and goodness with our lost world. This is His hope for us.....that we reach the lost for Him. Are you singing His praises?
As always, you are welcome to save the word art to your computers; but you are never required to use it in order to play along in our challenges or to win. We welcome you to share your all your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards). You may link up to five (5) projects each week, for a total of ten (10) entries per two-week challenge. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning. It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you as we share it. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules". Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to the guidelines. Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone. We're simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules. Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation.
