Welcome back to Word Art Wednesday. We're always SO grateful to have you join us for our fun Anything Goes/Family Friendly challenges. As always, we have an awesome sponsor with a generous prize up for grabs, some lovely inspiration, a beautiful piece of free word art, and a brief devotional that we hope will be a blessing to you. We hope that you'll stop by to visit our sponsor, Studio Katia, to see all their wonderful products and see all the amazing inspiration on the Studio Katia Blog. They will be so grateful for your visits, and you will LOVE what you find there. Thanks again for joining us.
The scripture for this challenge is 1 Peter 4:10 which says, "As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God". As we look at these words, we realize that the gift of God; which is eternal life through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, has been offered to every man (person). He didn't come to earth and die for only one group of people (one religion, one class, one ethnic group, etc.). He came, He served, He suffered and died, He rose again, and He went to prepare an eternal home for ALL people. So even though He came for ALL, not everyone has accepted this gift. This is why we are told to "minister the same to one another". Here's why. Even though a person has, perhaps many times, been told of the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ; they may have never heard from YOU - the way YOU would share it. God uses each of us in a different way. YOU might be able to reach a lost soul in a way that nobody else ever could. Just be bold and share what you know. God plants seeds through us. When we share what God has done for us and talk about salvation with others, we may never know how the Holy Spirit will work to reach someone. Don't ever underestimate your ability to share Christ with others because there is only one YOU, and God wants to use YOU. Just share it in faith, and trust God to do the rest. The enemy will give you a million reasons why you shouldn't share what you know; but do it anyway. Don't allow Satan to stop you from sharing what you know and what God has done for you. Being a "good steward" isn't just about money. It's about sharing what we know, what can bless others, and what God can do through us. We encourage you - even this week - to simply share with someone that "God loves you", or "I'm praying for you" (and then really pray for them). Just by talking about God and sharing His goodness with others can go a long way. Plant a seed. They may come back for more information. You never know until, and unless, you start. Be a good steward; not only of your money, but of your knowledge, your gifts, and ALL that God has given you. YOU may be exactly what is needed to point someone to Jesus today.
As always, you are welcome to save the word art to your computer; but you are never required to use it in order to play along in our challenges or to win. We welcome you to share your all your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards). You may link up to five (5) projects each week, for a total of ten (10) entries per two-week challenge. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning. It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you as we share it. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules". Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to the guidelines. Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone. We're simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules. Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation.
