Welcome back by, everyone. Thanks once again for joining us here at Word Art Wednesday. It's time for another SUPER FUN challenge, and we have no shortage of excitement for y'all this time around. We have an AWESOME sponsor, Newton's Nook, with some inspiration from a few of their DT Members using some of their adorable products. We also have a brief devotional that we hope will be a blessing and encouragement to you, as well as another lucky winner from our last (very generous) sponsor, Art Glitter. So, with all that said.....let's get started.
The scripture (verse) used to create this sweet piece of word art is Proverbs 13:26 which says "In the fear of the Lord is strong confidence: and His children shall have a place of refuge". This simply means that when we are living "in the fear" of God (giving full respect and comprehension to who He is), we find strong confidence. We won't be confused, uncertain or worried when we submit everything (all our worries, all our ways, all of us) to His will and His way. Our confidence grows. This refers to our confidence in our decisions, in our relationships, and in every aspect of our lives. Realizing God for WHO HE IS (the Savior, the awaited Messiah, the Ultimate Creator) gives us confidence (strength and clarity) in every part of our lives. And when it says "His children shall have a place of refuge", that means He will always be our "safe place", our fortress (shelter in the time of storm), and that He will protect us from everything and see us safely through our trials. With so much doubt and uncertainly surrounding us today, what a blessing to know that God is ALL we really need. In a time of confusion, what a joy to know the One who brings us "strong confidence" and who will always be our "place of refuge and safety".
As always, you are welcome to save the word art to your computer; but you are never required to use it in order to play along in our challenges or to win. We welcome you to share your all your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards). You may link up to five (5) projects each week, for a total of ten (10) entries per two-week challenge. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning. It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you as we share it. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules". Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to the guidelines. Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone. We're simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules. Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation.
