Anything Goes #422 - #423

Welcome back to Word Art Wednesday for our second challenge of the new year.  If you haven't yet had a chance to check out all our amazing 2020 Sponsors, you can see the entire list on the Sponsors Page.  For this challenge, we are blessed and grateful to have the WONDERFUL Neat & Tangled with us, as well as a WINNER from Stamp Simply Clear Stamps. There's lots of fun waiting for you, so let's get started.  And thanks again for joining us.

Our word art/scripture focus is Lamentations 3:25 which says, "The Lord is good unto them that wait for Him, to the soul that seeketh Him".  Let's break it down.  The first part tells us that "the Lord is good unto them that wait for Him".  You see, once we have asked the Lord God, Jesus Christ, to save us and dwell within our heart; He is ALWAYS there.  However, there are still going to be times when we struggle, get sad, and lose hope.  But this verse tells us that God is good to us when we WAIT for Him.  Our prayers aren't always answered WHEN and HOW we want, but they are always answered.  During those periods of time that we wait for Him to answer our prayers and guide us, He is good to us.  He comforts us and gives us the strength and wisdom we need to get through the situation.  We need to remember that His timing is always perfect, and that He knows what's best for us.  So while we wait, He continues to "be good to us" because He loves us.  The latter part of the verse tells us that this happens "to those who seek Him".  Let me ask you this....when something unwanted happens in your life, what is the first thing you do?  This verse reminds us that when troubles arise, the first thing we should always do is to "seek Him".  We do this by calling on Him.  And let me remind y'all that God LOVES to hear from us.  When troubles arise, seek Him!  Call out His name and ask for the help you need.  Through prayer and petition (asking), He is good to us.  But we have to "seek Him" (call on Him) first.  God loves you SO much.  He wants to be there for us, and He will be there for us; but we first have to ask Him for the help and direction we need, be willing to wait patiently for His answer, and then thank Him for being so good to us.  I know personally that I could never handle life's troubles alone.  He is SO good, and it's important to recognize that He will always be there and be good to us when we seek after Him.

As always, you are welcome to save the free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are never required to use it in order to play along in our challenges.   We welcome you share your all your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards).  You may link up to five (5) projects each week, for a total of ten (10) entries per two-week challenge. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning.  It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you as we share it. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules".  Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to the guidelines.  Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone.  We're simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules.  Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation!
