Anything Goes - #394 - #395

Welcome back to Word Art Wednesday for another FUN challenge, everyone.  I apologize again for the last challenge getting a late start (I was on vacation).  We have another really awesome challenge prepared for you, a very lucky WINNER of the Lawn Fawn prize; and another AMAZING sponsor for our new challenge.  We are grateful to have the best sponsors imaginable, and we're SO grateful to God for how He has continued to provide for us.  We sure hope you enjoy our challenges, and also hope that our Bible verses and little devotionals are a blessing to some of you.  Sometimes those few little words of encouragement can be just what you need. We hope you'll take a minute to read it.

The awesome digital scripture file was created using the verses Psalm 119:45 which says "And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts".  In the first portion where the psalmist says "...I will walk at liberty" refers to how he views his life (walking freely, openly, and in wide spaces - not being hindered by the weight of evil passions or corrupt desires because he was guarding his heart (his life) by walking with the Lord and seeking after what God wanted for him.  What I believe the psalmist was saying about living God's way was that he could see with his own eyes how people who obeyed the Lord were being blessed; and so, he was seeking to be even more obedient to God so that he, too, would gain the Lord's blessings and favor.  He wanted to obey God; but God's precepts (rules for living) require our careful obedience, and not just a lazy approach to the Christian life where we take our relationship with God casually.  God is holy and precious; and is the almighty Creator of everything.  We need to always remember that, just like the psalmist, our desire should always be to continue seeking after God and learning of Him, fearing Him, and asking Him to make us even more obedient.....we must ask Him to draw us even closer to Him, to be even more connected to Him, and to always seek His perfect precepts and will for our lives.  This alone is how we can find true peace and happiness while we're here on earth.  But PRAISE GOD that, for those who have placed their trust in Him alone and what He did for us on the cross of Calvary, we can know FOR SURE that we will spend eternity with Him in Heaven.  This world is not our eternal home.  But...God can give us a peaceful, wonderful, and blessed life on earth - and an eternity that's literally out of this world!  Let's always choose to walk at liberty and choose God's precepts.

As always, you are welcome to save the free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are never required to use it in order to play along in our challenges.   We welcome you share your all your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards).  You may link up to five (5) projects each week, for a total of ten (10) entries per two-week challenge. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning.  It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you as we share it. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules".  Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to the guidelines.  Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone.  We're simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules.  Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation!
