Welcome back to Word Art Wednesday, everyone! It's time for a fun new challenge and we're so glad you've decided to stop by and play along. Our fabulous Design Team Members were given the option of having the week off (if they wanted) because our AWESOME sponsor for this challenge, Joy Clair Stamps, is sharing card samples made by their talented DT Members. Some feature just Joy Clair Stamps, and some combine our word art with Joy Clair stamps. Below you'll see their card samples as well as some from our own DT. We hope you enjoy them.
Our word art scripture is Isaiah 28:29 which says, "And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children". This verse holds a valuable lesson for parents as it assures us that when we raise our children according to God's principles and His precious Word, they are blessed both inwardly and outwardly. When we teach our children about God's love, His commands, and the importance of living their lives in accordance with His Word and His will; they are blessed outwardly by being given the opportunity to walk in peace with Him throughout their lives. They're also being blessed inwardly as His spirit speaks to them, guides them, and encourages them. Children raised for the glory of the Lord will experience inward peace, a feeling of security, and great happiness. Sure, they'll still have struggles in life; but they'll know how to handle those trials, feeling assured that they are never going to face ANY of it alone. But much more than any of this, they will have security in their eternal destiny. They will never fear death because they will have the peace of knowing (for certain) where they are going after this life, and this gives our children the greatest confidence they can possibly hold in life. My Design Team Members and I have experienced (or are experiencing) these blessings personally with our own children. We're not saying (by any means) that our children are "better than" children raised without the Lord; but they certainly are experiencing great peace as this verse promises. We have the blessings of SEEING and experiencing the joy and peace they find only in Him. There is always great joy in living for the Lord, and we encourage you to share God's Word, His love, and His promises with your children and your children's children. And GREAT shall be their peace.
As always, you are welcome to save the free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are never required to use it in order to play along in our challenges. We welcome you share your all your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards). You may link up to five (5) projects each week, for a total of ten (10) entries per two-week challenge. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning. It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you as we share it. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules". Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to the guidelines. Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone. We're simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules. Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation!
