Hello, everyone!! We are SO glad you're here because it's time for another FABULOUSLY FUN challenge here at Word Art Wednesday. It's always even more fabulous when YOU all choose to join the fun. Let's jump right in with our devotional and get this challenge started, shall we?
As always, you are welcome to save the free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are never required to use it in order to play along in our challenges. We welcome you share your all your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards). You may link up to five (5) projects each week, for a total of ten (10) entries per two-week challenge. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning. It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you as we share it. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules". Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to our guidelines. Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone. We're simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules. Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation!
Hello everyone! It's DT Member, Ginny M here filling in for Karen with this week's devotional.
Our verse is Isaiah 58:1 and it's a promise of a life-time blessing; as well as a personal favorite of mine. I love to use this verse with birthday cards and wedding cards because it's such a wonderful verse filled with such promise and hope! When we are young in our walk with the Lord, we need to learn that He will always lead us and give us strength to navigate the paths that our lives will take. This verse promises us His mighty power during those times when great strength is needed. It tells us of the effect of God working in us, and what we become in Him. Where else can we go to receive these precious promises? I think we can all get through the hard times; but the question remains as to........"what happens after the hard times"? What will we be? We can look around us and see those who do not follow in the love and ways of God - and their end is not so good (it's uncertain and without hope). But, to those that love and believe on Him - They (we) will be like a watered garden, full of life and beauty (that reflects Him) - He will never fail us! He will guide us, He will feed us, He will cause us to bloom! If you know and love the Lord Jesus Christ, you know He will keep you; but if you don't yet know him, please pick up your bible and start reading. In John 14 verse 6 He declares He is the truth, the life and the way. Let him lead you, save you, cause you to bloom into the beautiful garden He created you to be. You will never regret it!
