Challenge #296-#297 - Anything Goes

Welcome back today, everyone!  We're so glad you're here, and we hope that our challenge will be a blessing to you just like YOU are a blessing to us.  We love sharing God's Word with you, inspiring you with our art, and giving you the opportunity to share your creations for the chance to win the AMAZING prizes from our AWESOME sponsors.  I apologize again about the linky mistake from our last challenge, and I assure you that everyone was equally entered into the random draw for the prizes.  OK...let's get started with our new challenge.  Here's our own Ginny Maxam with our devotional.

Hi, This is Ginny.  I’m a member of the Design Team here at Word Art Wednesday, and I’m stepping in to write the devotion for this challenge.  I’ve been living for the Lord all of my adult life; and one thing I know for certain is that my relationship with Him gets sweeter as each day passes!   This  week's verse (1 Corinthians 10:13) again speaks of redemption and its power to free our lives.  Not only for the present, but it also frees us from the stranglehold our past can put us in, and it opens the windows of heaven to pour out blessing into our future. This verse tells us that the Lord would rather pour love into our lives than judgment.  One of these things will happen someday when we stand before Him, and this is His calling card for us to choose to spend eternal life with Him.  The card is mailed in an envelope called redemption, and it is sealed with his blood.....and that choice between redemption and judgment is up to each of us.  If you don’t know Jesus in a personal way, you really need to get to know Him.  You can start your journey by reading the Gospel of John, and discover who Jesus is; and ask Him to help you understand the beautiful plan He has for your life.  Jesus doesn't want to be "a mystery" to you.  He longs to be your friend and your Savior.  Start today, and get to know Him and His beautiful gift of redemption!

As always, you are welcome to save the free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are never required to use it in order to play along in our challenges.   We welcome you share your all your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards).  You may link up to five (5) projects each week. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning.  It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you as we share it. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules".  Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to our guidelines.  Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone.  We're simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules.  Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation!

that it will be a blessing to you.
