Welcome back for another awesome challenge with us here at Word Art Wednesday! We're so glad you've stopped by to play along with us. Our amazing sponsor, Simon Says Stamp, is back with us for this challenge and they're offering one lucky winner a $25 Gift Certificate to their AWESOME store.
Our word art for this challenge is found in Psalm 121:1-2 which says, "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth". This is such a beautiful verse, and is extra special to me because I can actually remember when I was a small girl and my Grandfather would recite this verse in the mornings as he looked out his kitchen window towards the nearby hills. He would call on God to bless his day and guide him through it. What a beautiful testament for me to have witnessed as a child. I learned that when I'd start my day by calling on God to sustain me...I could count on His presence in my day to protect me and bless me. Never underestimate how powerful a message we send our children, grandchildren, and others when they see us read our Bible, hear us recite scripture, listen to and watch us pray, and gradually....we make an impact on their lives for the Lord, Jesus Christ. Our help cometh from the Lord who made heaven and earth, and God will always give us what we need to get through any trial. Lift your eyes up to Him, and always remember to call on God when you need help. He's always there for us.
As always, you are welcome to save the free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are not required to use it in order to play along in our challenges. We welcome you share your all your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards). You may link up to five (5) projects each week. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning. It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you as we share it. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules". Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to our guidelines. Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone. We're simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules. Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation!
