Challenge Weeks #248-249 - Anything Goes

Welcome to Word Art Wednesday!  We're so glad you've chosen to stop by and play along with us.  We have a great challenge for you all again, and we want you to know that we truly appreciate each of you who takes the time to share your art with us.  God has blessed each of us with unique talents, and it's always so fun to see how you all use those talents to create your art.  Are you ready for another AWESOME challenge?  Well, here we go!

Our beautiful word art, Isaiah 54:10, says "For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that have mercy on thee".  These are words of PROMISE and of hope.  All around us we see terrible things taking place in the world.  There is hatred, destruction and evil at every turn.  But, this earth is NOT all there is.  We know that the mountains and hills WILL depart and be removed.  In the end, all that will matter is our position/relationship (or lack thereof) with the great Creator of this world, Jesus Christ (God in human flesh).  When everything is said and done, NONE of what we know and see will exist or matter.  It will ALL be gone forever.  But God's precious Word assures us that His kindness shall NOT depart from us, nor His covenant of peace because He has taken mercy on us.  But don't be misguided, people.  His mercy is no joke, and it doesn't just come to us automatically or because we're "good people" or because we've gone to church, helped others, been baptized, etc.  It's up to each person to choose or reject what God is offering us.  There WILL be an end to this world, and we each have a choice as to where we want to spend our eternity.  It's OUR responsibility to ASK God for His mercy by giving our hearts to Him in a personal manner.  Let this verse be a reminder to each of us that this world is temporary, and that His mercy is extended to each of us, but only IF we choose to make that move and ask God for His mercy on our soul.  Praise God that He loved us enough to come this earth in human flesh and provide a way for us to experience His kindness and His mercy.  But it's completely up to us if we choose to accept it.  Eternity is a very long time, and it's important to secure yours.  The mountains and hills will be removed.  Will YOU accept the covenant of God's peace and the mercy God has extended to you?

As always, you are welcome to save the free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are not required to use it in order to play along in our challenges.   We welcome you share your all your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards).  You may link up to five (5) projects each week. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning.  It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you as we share it. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules".  Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to our guidelines.  Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone.  We're simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules.  Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation!
