Welcome back for another great challenge this week here at Word Art Wednesday. We've been seeing our number of participants growing each week, and we've been making new friends from all around the world. It's SO encouraging when we get comments from people like you who tell us how the devotionals encourage you, and how much the comments of our Design Team Members mean to you. Well, please know that your participation in our challenges means that much to us as well. We are SO blessed to have you play along with us and leave your sweet comments, and we sincerely hope that we are a blessing and encouragement to you each week. We're SO glad you're here; so WELCOME to new friends and old.
Let's look at this week's word art/scripture file and take it apart piece by piece to learn what each part means. "For which cause" - Because of God's abounding faith that supports us, "we faint not" - under ALL the pressures of our present life, "but through our outward man" - our physical body, "perish" - be worn out and brought to dust prematurely by our continual labors and suffering, "yet the inward man" - our soul, "is renewed day by day" - through the power of God we receive new degrees of physical strength. Let's put that all together and see how this verse sounds using these words. It comes out sounding something like this......."Because God's abounding faith supports us through ALL the pressures of our present lives, our physical bodies may feel worn out (and as if they may perish early); but our souls (the heart of who we really are) receive new strength each day through the power of God". No matter how you look at it, this is yet another wonderful and encouraging verse that God has given us to help us realize that when we submit our lives to Him, we will always have the strength and the resources needed to get through any problems the world might give us. God will NEVER leave us or cause us to go through the dark valleys alone. He renews us each and every day, and gives our souls the strength and energy we need to get through life's trials. Being a Christian doesn't mean that life is perfect, or even easy. But it does mean that God will always be by our side, and that He will always give us what we need to get through life's trials. By reading and studying God's Word, we receive the strength and knowledge needed to get through life. By hiding God's Word in our hearts, it helps us to live right; and it draws us closer to God through a personal relationship with Him. I know that I couldn't get through life's struggles alone. I rely on the power of God every day of my life; and I hope that you know Him and trust Him to get YOU through the trials that come your way. What a blessing to have His precious words to guide and encourage us through life, and to know that He will never leave us or forsake us.
As always, you are welcome to save this week's free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are not required to use it in order to play along in our challenges. We welcome you share your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards). You may link up to five (5) projects each week. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning. It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you each week. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules". Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to our guidelines. Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation!
