Welcome back, friends! Thanks so much for joining us again this week for another FUN challenge. We have two of our favorite sponsors with us this week (well, to be perfectly honest they're ALL favorites because ALL our sponsors are SO amazing and generous). Just wait until you see all we have for you this week. Let's take a look at this week's scripture.
This week we are focusing our attention on Psalm 20:5, "We will rejoice in thy salvation and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the Lord fulfill all thy petitions." As we read the other verses in Psalm 20, we see that the Psalmist (David) is expressing his supreme confidence and trust in the Lord (Psalm 20:6-7). Because of his deep-seated trust in the knowledge that the Lord is in control, he is saying that he can also rejoice in how the Lord is working in the lives of others. This confidence also allows him to "set up his banners," in the Lord's name. David was not afraid to let others know of his trust in the Lord. David faced many times of war and uncertainty, however he knew that the Lord was in control and would take care of him.
We also face difficulties, financial uncertainties and troubling times in our world today. It's easy to get bogged down in worry for not only our future but also for those we love. Since we serve the same God David did, we can also have his confidence in the Lord to care for us and our fellow believers. This should be a great comfort to us. Let's follow David's example and not only have this confidence in the Lord in our hearts, but also be bold in expressing it to the world and stand up for Him. - Stephanie Wright

As always, you are welcome to save this week's free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are not required to use it in order to play along in our challenges. We welcome you share your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards). You may link up to five (5) projects each week. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning. It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you each week. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules". Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to our guidelines. Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation!
We hope it will be a blessing to you.
