Welcome back, everyone! It's time for another great challenge, and we're delighted to have you join us. As you know, our challenges are normally always one week in length; but because of Christmas, this particular challenge will last for TWO WEEKS. This gives you even more time to link up with us. You can share up to five (5) projects with us to help improve your odds of winning one of our THREE (3) AMAZING prizes being offered for this challenge. We look forward to seeing your sweet creations. We also wish you all a blessed and WONDERFUL Christmas.
This week's scripture for our beautiful word art is Philippians 1:6, and it says, "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ". What this verse tells us is that "he" (God) began a good work in us when we were saved. We learn from Ephesians 2:10 that we are saved "unto good works" which means that good works accompany salvation always - but our good works alone cannot save us. The "good work" God started in us at the time of our salvation is His grace which is actively working in us. We take this gift of grace and share it with others; and as God continues to mold and shape us, we are His workmanship created FOR good works that will ultimately bring HIM glory. The beauty of this verse is that we learn how God is continually working in our lives, and that He will never stop performing the "good work" He began in us as long as we live in our human bodies. God wants to use us to do great things FOR HIS GLORY. When we allow God to perform His "good work" in us He will continue to use us. What a wonderful gift He has given us through our salvation. We surely are blessed!
As always, you are welcome to save this week's free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are not required to use it in order to play along in our challenges. We welcome you share your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards). You may link up to five (5) projects each week. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning. It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you each week. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules". Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to these guidelines. Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation!

Ah what a wonderful verse. . And what a wonderful day it will be when that day of Jesus' return does come.... Amen even so come Lord Jesus.
What a day of rejoicing that will be,
When we look upon His face,
The One Who saved me by His grace,
He takes me by the hand
And leads me to the promised land,
What a day of rejoicing that will be.
