Welcome to Word Art Wednesday! It's time for another great challenge, and we once again have two AMAZING sponsors with us. We understand this is SUPER busy time of year for everyone, and so we REALLY appreciate you all taking the time to share your art with us. We'd like to say thank you and farewell to Freckled Fawn. This will be their last time sponsoring us. But don't worry! We have amazing sponsors lined up for 2015. God continues to bless us and to provide exceeding abundantly. Our new sponsors will all be listed on the first of January. GOD IS SO GOOD!
This week's ENCOURAGING word art/scripture from God's precious Word is Luke 2:10. Let's take a closer look at this verse. While it may be a familiar verse to some of you, and one that you've heard many times at Christmas - it's one of great encouragement to us. If you were to ask a random stranger, "what are you celebrating this Christmas?", you would great a wide variety of answers. Some are celebrating family, some are celebrating good health, and some are celebrating a variety of other things. But here's a verse that gives us something really WONDERFUL to CELEBRATE. As we lead into this verse, we learn that the angel appeared in a field to a group of shepherds. As some of you may know, shepherd were not (and to this day are not) highly regarded as a social class. They were very common people - like you and I perhaps. Yet, the angel appeared to this group of shepherds and said, "Fear not (because I'm sure it would be frightening to have an angel of the Lord suddenly appear before you), for I bring YOU good tidings of great joy. WOW! They were bringing this INCREDIBLE news to YOU! God allowed very common people to be the ones who brought the incredible news of the birth of the Savior. That means that he also brings "good tidings of great joy to each of us individually"! It's VERY personal! One could actually take out the word YOU, and replace it with their first name. That's how personal it really is! The angel went on to say that these "good tidings of great joy would be TO ALL PEOPLE". This news isn't just for the elite, or the rich, or for a certain class of people. It's for YOU. God's Word specifically says it is for YOU. How incredibly wonderful it is to learn that this news, given to common people like us, is for ALL people to enjoy for all generations. A Savior was born, Jesus Christ, God in human flesh who cared enough about us that He provided a way for us to get to Heaven by sending these wonderful "tidings of great joy" (news of the Savior). All we have to do is place our faith and eternal trust in what God gave us, and He will save us and give us eternity with Him in Heaven. You really CAN give Jesus a Birthday gift this year. No, December 25 is not likely the exact date Jesus was born; that doesn't matter. It's simply the appointed day we CELEBRATE His birth and acknowledge that He came to earth to provide a way for us to get to Heaven. Give Him a gift this year by placing your faith in Him, and then sharing the "good tidings of great joy" with others. That is a gift that will truly honor the King of Kings.

.. ... have been viewing your posts and wodnerful verses by Karen and printed some of them off today really adore this week's one and the various emphasis on layout - as a calligrapher I really think this is important and as Christian the layout must emphasise the meaning of the text ..
... praise Him what a wonderful Saviour and Friend, He is to me! and to all who call upon Him!!
