Welcome back, everyone! We had a great challenge last week with Our Daily Bread Designs, and we'd like to give this wonderful company and their amazing group a BIG SHOUT OUT for all their help. Don't forget to check out all their amazing stamps, dies and more. Thank you again, Our Daily Bread, for sponsoring us!
Our word art/scripture for this week comes from Isaiah 64:8 and it talks about the LORD (Yahweh God in the Old Testament, Jesus Christ in the New Testament) as being our "potter". This is because when we accept Christ as our Savior and submit our lives to Him, He begins to form us into what He wants us to become. By allowing Him to mold us, we become "the clay", and we show Him our complete submission. Only when we submit fully to Him can He mold us into all that He knows we can be. Most of us have never thought of ourselves as a "lump of clay", but we are. This week, as you think about your relationship with the Lord, remind yourself that you're the clay, and that Jesus Christ is the potter molding you into a perfect work that will ultimately bring glory and honor to His precious name; and allow Him to shape your life - even when it's difficult. He's the Master Potter, and He will never drop his clay and break it. You are precious to Him, and you are "the work of His hands".
As always, you are welcome to save this week's free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are not required to use it in order to play along in our challenges. We welcome you share your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards). You may link up to five (5) projects each week. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning. It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you each week. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules". Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to these guidelines (dark images, etc.). Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation!
