Challenge #147 - Anything Goes!

Hello, crafty friends!  Welcome to Word Art Wednesday.  We're so glad that you've stopped by to play along in this week's challenge.  We have two AMAZING sponsors for this week's challenge, and we wish you all the best of luck in the random draw.  Please know that you are ALL winners in our book, and we are so grateful for every entry we receive.  We enjoy visiting your blogs and getting to know you all.  You're all SUPER crafters, and we SO enjoy seeing the lovely cards and projects you create each week.

We have a lovely scripture/word art file for you to enjoy.  This week, we are focusing on James 5:8 which reminds us first to be patient.  This is one of the most difficult things of all for people to do; saved or unsaved.  We tend to be impatient people who want things done NOW!  It's completely natural for us to be impatient, but it's not what is best for us.  God tells us over and over in His Word to be patient in so many different scriptures pertaining to so many different circumstances.  When we are able to be patient, God is able to work through us to achieve His perfect will for us.  When we are impatient, we tend to get frustrated, act out, and ultimately make wrong decisions that can harm us and negatively affect our witness.  When we are patient, however, we can see God's hand of blessing and direction on us and we're going to have a clear mind to know how to handle the situation.  The verse goes on to tells us that we need to stablish (this word stablish in the KJV is stabilio in the Greek, and simply means to set, fix, and establish) our hearts.  When we set or fix our heart on the Lord instead of fixing it on our own selfish desires, we again align our will with His will, and He will bless us.  The final part of this verse tells us that "the coming of the Lord draweth nigh".  PRAISE GOD!  It's SO exciting to hear these precious words.  The time to be patient and to prepare our hearts is now because the Lord WILL return soon, and we want to be ready.  But during the time before the Lord returns, we really should do everything we can to prepare ourselves.  We do this by submitting our daily lives to these simple teachings; and in return, we will be blessed by God's guidance, direction and blessings.

As always, you are welcome to save this week's free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are not required to use it in order to play along in our challenges.   We welcome you share your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of art (not just limited to cards).  You may link up to 5 projects each week. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning.  It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you each week. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules".  Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to these guidelines (dark images, etc.).  Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation!

Here's this week's beautiful scripture/word art file.
We hope that it will be a blessing to you!
