Challenge #145 - Anything Goes

Welcome back, everyone!  It's been a busy week, and a good one at that.  God continues to answer prayer and to bless this little challenge blog with His goodness and provision, and we are so incredibly grateful.  Look out, world!  There are no limits to what God can do.  (Romans 8:31)

Our focus scripture this week is Colossians 1:27 and it speaks of "this mystery among the Gentiles".  For those who know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, it isn't a "mystery" at all; but rather, it is our everything.  But we all know those who simply don't get it.  They can't wrap their heads around how incredibly simple and wonderful true salvation really is.  People want to attach other rituals to their salvation.  Many are still confused about "this mystery".  But for those who have completely trusted their eternal salvation to Jesus Christ, God in human flesh - the complete and final sacrifice for our sinfulness - there is no mystery.  Jesus Christ living in us really IS the hope and glory this verse talks about. In Old Testament times, before Jesus Christ came to fulfill the great commission, this mystery (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) could only be explained through divine revelation.  But, praise God, we have the rest of the story, and the "mystery" has been revealed.  All we need to do now is to accept what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross.  That's it.  We don't have to attach ANYTHING else to it.  Aren't you grateful for what He has done for us?

As always, you are welcome to save this week's free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are not required to use it in order to play along in our challenges.   We welcome you share your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of art (not just limited to cards).  You may link up to 5 projects each week. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning.  It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you each week. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules".  Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to these guidelines (dark images, etc.).  Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation!

Here's this week's beautiful scripture/word art file.
We hope that it will be a blessing to you!
