Welcome, friends! We had another AMAZING challenge last week, and we PRAISE GOD for all the ways He continues to bless us. It was wonderful receiving your comments and finding out where you live, and a little bit about your lives. We are so grateful for each of you, and we truly appreciate the art you share. It will be fun seeing what you come up with this week, and we wish you all luck in the random draw. You're ALL winners in our book, and we thank you for being a part of this challenge blog because we couldn't do it with you and the beautiful art you share.
This week, our word art is found in Psalm Chapter 17 and verse 15. It tells us that when we "awake"; which is referring to the time when we see Him face to face in Heaven, we will eternally behold His face and we will be in his likeness. Sometimes in life, it upsets us when we see prosperity in those who aren't living for the Lord. We need to remember that their seemingly "wonderful lives" (their treasures) are only going to be enjoyed in this temporary life. Yes, we will all struggle. But our reward is eternal. When we keep our focus on His face and His goodness towards us, and we continue to live for Him, He is storing up true treasures for us in Heaven. We need to behold thy face (keep our eyes steadily fixed on Him every day), and we need to be satisfied in whatever situation He has us. This life we live is temporary. His kingdom is eternal. Just praise Him in your circumstance, and hold fast to the beauty of His promises. Those who have placed their trust in what Jesus Christ did on the cross will awake one day in Heaven and be like Him, and will behold His face and praise Him eternally in a place that has no troubles, no worries, no stress, no problems. Life's blessings, as well as life's struggles, are temporary. We need to keep our focus on God's promises of an eternity with Him. Those are the things that really matter.
As always, you are welcome to save this week's free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are not required to use it in order to play along in our challenges. We welcome you share your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of art (not just limited to cards). You may link up to 5 projects each week. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning. It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you each week. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules". Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to these guidelines. Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation!

Am back ... and waht blessing to see the word still going forth here.. and great work by DT and what a special verse this is.. "for we shall be like Him for we shall see Him as He is", as John says in his epistle ..
..and thought of the verse Paul wrote to the Corinthians as read your post about not comparing ourselves with out .. he that compares himself with himself us not wise.. or more fully in 2 Cor. 10:12
" For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise."
every blessing, Shaz in Oz.x

Oh, Karen, I look forward to WAW posts and reading the wonderful devotional for each week's verse! How precious indeed! Yes, this is not our eternal home, and someday when we awake, we will be made whole and like our precious Savior. I've been listening to Kristyn Getty's wonderful song this last week, "Draw Me Ever Nearer" that really resonates for me in the last line, "With Your likeness may I wake." Thank you, Karen!
THANK YOU for another chance to link up and all the gorgeous inspiration from the DT! :) Mynn xx
