Happy Wednesday - the middle of the week, and time for another fun challenge here at Word Art Wednesday. We were so blown away by all the wonderful creations you shared with us last week. Week after week, we are continually blessed by all of you, as well as the sweet cards and projects you share. God continues to bless us far beyond anything we could ask or think, and we praise Him for YOU, and for all the goodness He shows us over and over again. We're looking forward to this week's challenge, and we're grateful to have you join us.
Check out this fun challenge - just through Christmas Eve! Elizabeth Michel Blog
This week's scripture comes from Isaiah 9:6 and is one of the most-beloved of all Christmas verses. It gave prophesy (all of which was fulfilled in Jesus Christ) telling us that His perfections would include such attributes as "Wonderful (supernatural), a Counselor, (as well as a wonderful counselor), as He brought us words of hope and eternal life; and when He comes again, He will rule with perfect wisdom. He is the Mighty God, which is a term applied to His Old Testament name (Yahweh), and it predicts the ultimate victory of Messiah over evil. He is the Everlasting Father, which means literally He is the Father of all Eternity, a Father to His people who guards them, and supplies and cares for all their needs. He is the Prince of Peace - the One who brings peace in the fullest sense of wholeness, prosperity, and tranquility. All individuals can now know His peace, and one day the whole world will experience it as well. What's really wonderful about this verse, as well as ALL of God's Word, is that they're not just "nice words". They are ABSOLUTE TRUTH. So, whether or not mankind chooses to believe on these precious words, they ARE true, and they have been, and will again be, fulfilled. Jesus Christ, God in human flesh, the Redeemer of all mankind - He is truly the greatest gift EVER!
As always, you are welcome to save this week's free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are not required to use it in order to play along in our challenges. We welcome you share your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of art (not just limited to cards). You may link up to 5 projects each week. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning. It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you each week. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules". Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to these guidelines. Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation!
