Welcome back for another great new challenge. Your entries have been such a blessing to us, and we thank you for playing along in our challenges. Each week, our Design Team looks forward to seeing all the amazing projects you make and share with us. We are truly grateful for every single entry, and each kind comment you leave. You are all winners in our eyes, and we praise God for you all.
This week's scripture/word art is Proverbs 15:16. The Book of Proverbs is just filled with wonderful words of wisdom. This particular proverb tells us that we're so much better off fearing the Lord and having less, than to have all sorts of worldly possessions and not have the Lord in our lives. We all know this is true. We see movies about how people get greedy when they become wealthy, or how they are somehow willing to do evil in order to obtain money and riches. We've seen how lottery winners become some of the most miserable people on earth. The real "riches" in life are a happy family, a solid marriage, obedient children who desire to live for the Lord, and being grateful for each meal we eat. Taking delight in the "little things" can bring such joy. It's quite normal for us to think about how nice it would be to be wealthy, or how our worries would go away if we had more money. But the truth is that our happiness doesn't come from wealth. It comes from living our lives for Jesus. When we honor Him and keep Him close, He draws closer to us and blesses us in ways that we could have never imagined. If you want to feel truly wealthy, just lay all your burdens at His feet, ask Him to live in your heart and lead you in all your ways. You will begin to see how He will just pour out blessings on you that you have never imagined. This week in the United States, we celebrate Thanksgiving. Regardless of where you live, we encourage you this week to take time to thank God for blessing you with what you have - it ALL comes from Him. If there's anything you really need, let Him know. He cares about you! And He alone is able to give you the true riches that will bless your life. We are rich, and we are blessed, and we serve an AWESOME God!
As always, you are welcome to save this week's free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are not required to use it in order to play along in our challenges. We welcome you share your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. You can also link more than one project each week (up to 5 each week). The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning. It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you each week. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules". They have been revised, and we ask that you check them out if you aren't familiar with our challenge guidelines. Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to these guidelines. Thanks for understanding!
