Welcome back for another great week and another awesome challenge. Thanks for stopping by to say hello and to join us for all the crafty fun again this week. We're so glad that you've joined us, and we look forward to seeing the lovely art you will create and share.
In our scripture this week, the Psalmist tells us once again that we are to "trust in the Lord and do good". We've heard this in other Bible scriptures, so trusting the Lord and doing what is right must be a really key element to living the Christian life. This verse goes on to tell us that when we are faithful to trust in the Lord and do good (or do what is right), God gives us a land in which we can dwell. Weather you think of this "land" as the country in which you live, the house or apartment where you dwell, a neighborhood, city/state or whatever, you have to realize that this land (place where you live) was provided and given to you by God. It also tells us that we "shall be fed". This can speak to our physical need for food (which God always provides) and can also refer to all the wonderful ways that God will feed us with His wisdom through His precious Word. God will feed our souls and our bodies with the blessings and knowledge He imparts to us. God surely blesses us, and He gives us all the things we will need to be able to "trust him, do good, live in the land and be fed" to the extent that He wants for us. Every verse that comes from God's Word is filled with rich blessings like this simple verse. How wonderful to know that the mighty God of this universe, Jesus Christ Himself God, cares SO MUCH about you and I that He would bless us with eternal life, and leave us with the comforts of His holy and precious Word, the Bible. I hope that you will allow God's Word to bless your heart and your life every day.
As always, you are welcome to save this week's free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are not required to use it in order to play along in our challenges. We welcome you share your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. You can also link more than one project each week (up to 5 each week). The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning. It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you each week. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules". They have been revised, and we ask that you check them out if you aren't familiar with our challenge guidelines. Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to these guidelines. Please keep this in mind with Halloween approaching. While we know that your Halloween cards are all in good fun, they are not appropriate for our challenges, and we don't want to have to delete any entries for content or from "dark" blogs. Thanks for understanding!
