What an amazing week we had here at Word Art Wednesday. We're getting so close to hitting 200 entries, and when we do....there will be an amazing prize to one lucky entrant. We are so grateful for the art you share with us each week, and we always enjoy visiting your blogs to say hello. Thank you so much for playing along with us! By the way, you can scroll down to the previous post to meet our May Guest Designer, Kris Breach.
Our word art for this week comes from Psalm 127. This passage stresses that life should be lived in dependence on the Lord, and that our children are regarded as an heritage from the Lord. Verses 4 and 5 go on to say..."As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate." Children are a blessing from God, and when raised for His glory, they will be there to support their parents in difficulty, and care for them in old age. He has blessed us with our children, and we have a responsibility to raise them according to His Word, so that they can live long and be blessed of God in their lives. What tremendous joy our children bring to us!
You are welcome to save this week's free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are not required to use it in order to play along in our challenges. We welcome you share your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. You can also link more than one project each week (up to 5). The more, the merrier. We just hope that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you each week. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules".
